Zambian rap act – Bombshell Grenade who is signed under Nexus Music has bagged the AFRIMMA for “Best Female Rapper“. Bombshell had been nominated alongside the likes of fellow Zambian – Sampa The Great, Tanzania’s Rosa Ree, SA’s Nadia Nakai, Nigeria’s Ms Banks and more heavyweights.
Another Zambian nominated was Slapdee in the Category of “Best Male Southern Africa” which was won by South Africa’s ace – Focalistic.

The 8th Edition of AFRIMMA star studded line up acts include: Sauti Sol (Kenya), Ladipoe (Nigeria), Focalistic (South Africa), Soweto’s Finest (South Africa), Ruger (Nigeria), Toofan (Togo), DJ Tarico (Mozambique), Zuchu (Tanzania) and Nandy (Tanzania).
