The nominees for the 8th official BEFFTA award are finally out, with our own Jay Rox and Kan2 nominated for Best International Male African Act and Best International Female African Act respectively.
Other artists nominated for these categories are; Efya, Vannessa Mdee, Akothee, Yemi Alade, Tiwa Savage, Butera Knowless, Lira, Zahara, Victoria Kimani, Seyi shay, Kissilâ Kay and Angela Kalule, for the females. Tay Grin, Reekado Banks, Kiss Daniel, Martse, Timi Dakolo, Ali Kiba, Eddy Kenzo and Diamond Platinum for the males.
The BEFTA AWARDS stands for Black Entertainment Film Fashion Television and Arts. These awards are distinctly special awards ceremony honouring the best showbiz and entertainment personalities in the black and ethnic communities in the UK, USA, Africa, Caribbean, Canada and globally.
With Roxa having won last year for Best Male African Act we wish him and Kan2 who is a first time Nominee all the best.
