After over a month since Tommy D shook the industry with his verse on KOBY‘s “Keep Forgetting“, Macky 2 has finally responded to the rapper’s remarks about him. Tommy D on his verse name-dropped various artists who he says to have helped on their come up.
Tommy on the record narrated how he took Macky 2 from Chingola to Ndola and made connections for him. Macky 2 did not pay a deaf ear to Tommy D‘s lines; on his latest “New Year Freestyle“, King Bugar finally aired out what he thinks.
“This is for the homies that i lost to the bullsh#t/ always wanted credit but they did’t even do sh#t/ that’s why i keep a small circle/ pantu bapatila napafyobe mpakafye umupeko/” – Macky 2 raps.
In these lines we hear Macky 2 subliminally aim at Tommy D for demanding credit which he clearly wont get. On the lines that follow, he further states that Tommy‘s bitterness is driven by frustration:
“First he was my niggah then he turned into a snake/ all the smiles on them faces turned out it was fake/ i paid my dues a long time – my foundation wont shake/ am still happy for you niggah i hope you getting cake/ the bitterness you feel is caused by frustration/“.
Despite not mentioning the name “Tommy D“, considering the recent turn of events, it’s safe to say Macky 2 was aiming at Tommy.
