Slap Dee‘s protest for higher performance fees seems to have paid off earlier than expected. The hip hop heavyweight turned down a reported fee of K7,000 to open stage for Tekno at Woodlands stadium on the 28th of July. He demanded that higher fees be paid to local artists and demanded better terms of service.

The promoters of the event have confirmed in a statement that they have reached an agreement with King Dizzo and he will headline the Tekno show alongside Kopala Swag music giant – Macky 2.

The statement issued by Goodlife C.E.O Mr. Shawn Kabemba also states that the earlier tweet by Tekno had nothing to do with Zambia but fellow Nigerian artistes Danfo Drivers.
