The grand unveiling of nominees for the 2023 Diamond Media Personality of the Year Awards (POTYAS) took place with much pomp and splendor at the luxurious Taj Pamodzi Hotel in Lusaka. This prestigious event marks the fifth annual celebration of outstanding media personalities.
An impressive influx of over 300,000 entries was received this year. Out of this impressive pool of talent, more than 80 exceptional individuals and businesses have earned nominations across 20 diverse categories. Notably, this year introduces the inaugural Rising Star Category, adding even more excitement to the mix.
In total, POTYAS encompasses 30 distinct categories, with 20 of them open to the public for voting, ensuring that the audience has a say in honoring their favorites. The remaining 10 categories will be under the purview of the Awards Council, entrusted with the task of adjudicating the deserving nominees.
The awards ceremony is slated for November 9, 2023, promising a night of recognition and celebration.
