Sampa The Great has finally released her debut album titled “The Return“. At a time when Zambian music is in it’s prime, Sampa who is one of the most notable Zambian talents on the international stage adds her flavour to the mix. The rapper has released a 19 track-album which will surely impress the hip-hop community.
Sampa Tembo, known professionally as Sampa The Great, is a Zambian-born singer-songwriter, and rapper based in Australia.
Sampa has been building up to this album release for some time now. Speaking on here is what she had to say:
“Today I release a piece of my heart to the world. The Return is a journey. Prepare your heart for it and remember to be in a space that allows you to go through that journey. Burn you some incense, light it up, take a run or kick it with the homies at a park or with your family at home. At the end of it. Relate it to you. 💜
